History
After graduating from the University of Southern California, Randy Abe started his career as an auditor with Touche Ross in the World Trade Center. After receiving an MBA from The Wharton School, Randy co-founded a minority-owned energy marketing company in Los Angeles, and worked with numerous Houston-based energy trading companies. In 1996, Randy started independent consulting for large utility companies, energy trading/marketing companies, and gas producers in the area of financial controls and integration of trading, risk management and ERP systems. By the early-2000s, Epiphany Energy Consulting had with major corporate clients across the US and South America.
In 2006, Epiphany was retained to lead the Market Redesign and Technology Update (MRTU) program for a large Southern California electric utility, and later as part of their Smart Metering initiative. In 2010, Epiphany was engaged to implement an energy trading/logistics approach within the coal industry, one in the US and the second based in London, Singapore and South Africa. Since then, Epiphany has designed and developed custom ETRM and CTRM systems and reporting data warehouse applications.
In 2017, Epiphany was retained by a large Port Logistics/Maritime industry player to assist in implementation of their Microsoft ERP system. Also in 2017, Epiphany was retained to lead the implementation of the OpenLink Endur platform, the leading Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) system for a large US natural gas producer.
In 2018, Epiphany continues to serve its existing and new clients. Epiphany has been recently retained by a Midwestern gas utility company to develop business requirements and as advisor for an upcoming ETRM vendor RFP.

Claire Pringle Gotham
Ms. Gotham is an experienced trading and risk management consultant. She has over 20 years of experience in the commodities industry, starting as a commodity broker with Grain Service Corporation in 1993. Claire has expertise in ETRM implementation, market analytics, and trading/hedge accounting training. Claire has previously worked at Sempra Solutions, PG&E, Deloitte and Touche, Macquarie, and Ernst & Young. Claire’s experience includes advising and reporting to C-level executives and working effectively with the Board of Directors. This makes her ideally suited to assist companies with sophisticated projects to develop commodity trading and hedging strategies, implement risk management structures and develop trading strategy.

Brad has over 15 years of experience with Structure Consulting Group and Accenture leading technology projects within the Energy Industry. He has deep functional skill sets across energy trading & risk management front, middle and back-offices, and brings end-to-end expertise to his clients to deliver holistic solutions. Brad is a SME across North America power, natural gas and environmental markets along with asset optimization, generation and load modeling. Brad has extensive expertise conducting business needs assessments and helps his clients identify operational and economic areas of opportunity. During his career, Brad has repeatedly guided sizeable, cross-functional teams in the design, re-design and launch of leading-edge technology solutions. Brad brings deep energy domain knowledge, ETRM implementation experience and large consultancy insights to Epiphany's clients.
